Govern for Impact's PGP program is the only program available that leads to a professional designation denoting the possession of a high standard of Policy Governance knowledge and expertise.   It is accessible from anywhere in the world to English-speaking participants who have a good internet connection.   As an international organization, Govern for Impact aims to offer the program in other languages wherever this can be made possible.

The program aims to meet the needs of those who want to ensure they are equipped to play a leadership role in the application of Policy Governance principles and practice.

The Program runs from October 2019 thru May 2020. This is payment for the first half of the program. The second half of the payment will be due on or before prior to Jan. 15 2020.

PGP Grandparenting Exam

General Information About the Exam
The exam is administered online using the combined Moodle and Zoom platforms. There are 60 multiple choice questions. You have 2 hours to complete the 60 questions. To achieve a passing grade of 75%, you will need to answer at least 45 questions correctly. This is an "open book" exam, so you can check with whatever materials you want during the exam.

The exam questions currently cover the contents of Units 2 - 7 only. However, beginning in May 2020 questions from Unit 1 will be included in the exam.

If you have not paid the administrative fee of $150, you will need to do so in order to have access to the PGP Online Learning Center through which you can prepare for and take the exam. You may pay the fee when registering for the exam, or you may choose to be invoiced. You may register for

Once you have paid the Grandparenting Program administrative fee, you are welcome to access the PGP Course for Policy Governance Academy participants in the PGP Online Learning Center to prepare for the exam. The website for the Online Learning Center can be found here. If you don't recall your password, go to the website and then click on the "Forgotten your username and password?" link. You will then be guided to create a new password. If you don't recall your username (most likely your first name and first letter of your surname), you can use your email address.
